Cinderella 2018
Natalie is a Sophomore this year. This will be her 2nd SHS musical, the first being The Little Mermaid (Ensemble). Natalie is also in Show Choir, Chamber Choir, and Pep Band. She is so thankful for the memories and friends she has made because of this production and is so thankful to everyone who made this production possible. Most importantly she would like to thank her parents for their unwavering support of her many activities. She hopes that this show helps you remember that, “Impossible things are happening everyday.”

Emma is a junior, and this is her 2nd musical. She was a hot box girl last year in Guys and Dolls. Emma is in vocal jazz and band, she loves music and getting involved. “I want to give Skyler, our director, a shout out for the many late nights he puts in to make this happen, also the ability he has to push you to your limits to be your best, Thank you and enjoy the show.”

Bryanna is a senior, and this is her 1st SHS production. She was previously involved in Ballet LaCrosse’s production of Heidi. She is also involved in Marching Band, Symphonic Band, SHE, Show Choir, and FBLA. Bryanna plans to go to college for Astronomy & Engineering. “I would like to thank my parents and friends within the cast for supporting me on this new endeavor!”

Michael is a senior this year. He has performed in 4 musicals with SHS including Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson), The Little Mermaid (Grimsby), Mary Poppins (Mr. Northbrook). He is also a part of Vocal Jazz, Chamber Choir, Show Choir, and Tech Club. “I would like to thank Ms. Schneider for working and dealing with me from practically 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. most days, Skyler for giving me opportunities to better myself and prove it on stage, my family for not minding that I am literally never home, and anyone who has supported me knowing I want to pursue musical theater as a career.”

Bethany is a sophomore, and this is her 1st musical with SHS. She was, however, in the shows Annie and The Wizard of Oz with Tomah’s ACT. She is also involved in show choir. “I would like to thank my parents for driving me to rehearsals and for always supporting me. To the directors for this opportunity and for helping me grow as an actor and an individual. Finally, to the cast for all the hard work that was put in and memories that were made. Thank you for coming and enjoy the show.”

Zoey has been in 3 other musicals including Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, and Guys and Dolls. She is a sophomore at Sparta High School and participates in Show Choir, the spring play, and SHE. Zoey wishes to continue being a part of these productions and hopes that you enjoy this magical and unpredictable show.

Tarren is a senior this year. This is his 5th musical production. He is involved in musical and fight club. Wait, whoops...He is a comic by day, and Batman by night. But not Ben Affleck Batman. He’s lame. “All tomfoolery aside, I want everyone to enjoy the show and to have a wonderful night. I thoroughly enjoy performing for you all!”

Patrick is a sophomore, and this is his 5th musical at SHS. He is also involved in Show Choir, Football, Baseball, and Band. “I would like to thank my parents and all my cast members for being there for me when I needed it most. I would also like to thank the directors for helping me find my voice and character, and I hope you all enjoy Cinderella.”

Matthew is a sophomore at Sparta High School and this is his first theatre production. He is also a part of Show Choir, Band, Chamber Choir, and plays multiple instruments. He plays guitar, trumpet, violin, and piano. He would like to thank his parents for making him start music at a young age.

Calvin is a Junior at SHS. He has been involved in 3 productions both on and off the stage. He was a Lighting Tech for The Little Mermaid and played Angie The Ox in Guys and Dolls. He is also in Show Choir, Combo, Tech, Chamber Choir, Symphonic Band, and a sound tech for Vocal Jazz. He loves to sing, dance, drum, play guitar and jam with Wildish Jambino.

Kaydyn is a freshman this year at SHS. This is his 2nd show, last year he played Joey Biltmore in Guys and Dolls. Kaydyn is also involved in Show Choir and FBLA. “I would like to thank my directors for being forgiving when I forget my binder, and to my mom for driving me to practice. I hope you guys have a wonderful time watching our amazing show.”

Kate is a senior at SHS. She has been in 4 other productions, Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble), Mary Poppins (Mrs. Corry), The Little Mermaid (Flotsam), and Guys and Dolls (Adelaide). Next year she hopes to attend UW-Madison, possibly majoring in political science and global studies. She would like to thank the theatre department for helping her grow into the confident woman she is.

Marie is a sophomore and this is her 1st SHS musical. She wants those who are interested in joining the musical to know, there is minimal down time. You must be a talented multitasker in order to maintain your grades, a healthy sleep schedule, and to stay focused during practice. “I’d like to thank everyone who was involved for their time and commitment in the production.”

Cassandra is a senior and this is her 3rd musical production. She performed in The Little Mermaid, and helped teched Guys & Dolls. She is also involved in Show Choir. She is looking to go to Viterbo and major in Musical Theatre. A special thanks goes out to her family and friends that have supported her. “I hope you enjoy watching the show as much as I enjoy performing.”

Viviana is a sophomore this year. She has been in one other production, last year’s Guys and Dolls. She is also involved in Show Choir, Jazz Band, SHE, and she is a Techie. “I would like to thank my family for dealing with my crazy schedule. Krista is a sophomore, and this will be her 1st production on stage but she was a makeup artist with last year’s Guys and Dolls. She is in Show Choir, Winter Guard, and anything else she can help with in the music department. “I’d like to give a shout out to Schneider for being so helpful, encouraging, and supportive. Also thank you to Krpan because he has never let me put myself down or underestimate myself. So thank you Michael.”

Megan is a sophomore, and she has been in 4 other theatre productions. She was in Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls, and the play, Ordinary People. “I would like to thank my amazing managers with dealing with my schedule. I would also like to thank my parents for also dealing with my crazy schedule.”

K’Lynn is a sophomore, and this is her 1st musical production. She is in Treble Choir and enjoys reading and sketching. “I would like to thank my parents for letting me be in the musical and just dealing with me in general. I would also like to thank Mr. Sonneman who really helped me grow through music. And lastly, I thank my friends who gave me the confidence I needed.”

Anna is a freshman in high school, and this is her 1st SHS production. She also participates in Show Choir. Participating in these programs involves a lot of work and lack of sleep. She does encourage students to get involved even if it isn’t in the musical though! “I want to thank everyone who has helped her grow as a person, actor, dancer, and musician.”

Mackenzie is a freshman at SHS. This is her second musical, her first musical was Fiddler on the Roof Jr. (Chava) at the middle school. She loves singing, dancing, reading, and drama. “I would like to thank all the actors and actresses who worked really hard. Also to all the parents who committed their time to this production.”

Grace is a freshman and this is her 1st show in a long time. Grace reads books, writes short stories, sketches, and listens to music while redecorating her room. “I would like to thank Mackenzie Schubert for literally dragging me auditions. I’d also give a shout out to my cab driver for driving me to practice and back. I wish everyone the best!”

Jenna is in 8th grade, and this is her 4th musical. Past shows included Mary Poppins (Jane Banks), The Little Mermaid (Flounder), and Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Girl). She also participates in Show Choir, Jazz Band, and is the current Miss Sparta’s Outstanding Teen where her platform in Shining a Spotlight on Music Education. “I want to thank the directors and my family for everything they have done this past couple months.
